Hello my lovelies! Just a quick post to apologise again for the lack of blogging, it's so annoying not having a camera charger and my phone isn't the same! I should be getting a charger next week so blogging can resume, thankfully!
I also treated myself to my very first MAC foundation! I got Studio Fix Fluid in NW20 and so far I'm loving it! My summer ball is coming up soon so I may get to post about that, exciting!
Also, for Eloise who commented on my last post, the wig I was wearing in the photos was £15 from Claire's, and they were doing a 3 for 2 offer on all hair accessories so I got some slides as well!
Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Hello my lovelies! Revision continues but I have some pretty things to show you today! First of all there's this beautiful red skirt that I got off
essbeevee's eBay! It's so bright and light and pretty, perfect for summer! I teamed it with a River Island top and a floppy hat I got from my mum (origins unknown) and sadly tights as it appears to be a blustery day again, and I've had enough of doing the Marilyn when walking down the street (happened at my cousin's wedding the other week, CRINGE).
Frizzy hair much? I've loaded it with products and it still defies me, but I can't bring myself to keep straightening it! Here you can also see my fave coral nail varnish by Barry M, seriously having a coral moment right now! Speaking of which...
...I picked up one of the new Sleek MakeUp lipsticks yesterday in Superdrug, this one is called Coral Reef and is absolutely lovely (although as you may see it doesn't like Lipcote at all, it's gone all funny-looking :/). But it was only £3.99, although they're running a 2 for £6 deal at the moment, they'd sold out of all the colours I wanted in my local Superdrug though!
Finally, a little birthday purchase...
I'm in LOVE. It was totally worth checking
Wallpaper Rose EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last six months!
Hope you're all having a good week!

Hello my lovelies!
Today's outfit is a bit nondescript, I didn't really feel like making a huge effort as all I'm doing is revising in my friend's garden! I added the hairband to jazz up my hair a bit and the adorable moustache t-shirt to make it a bit more fun, but overall it's a very comfy outfit, perfect for revision!
[Hairband - Accessorize, T-shirt - River Island, dress (worn as top) - New Look, jeggings - C&A]
I seem to have absolutely no control over my facial expressions! When I took the photo below I was sure I was smiling but when I checked it after it looks like I'm pouting! Bah! I'll have to go back to posing with a cheesy grin to stop this from happening! I also forgot to put on my under-eye concealer before taking the photos so my eyebags are posing alongside the rest of me!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Hello my lovelies! This shall be a very quick post in the midst of revision times, I'm sorry to say! Last night my friends and I went out to celebrate the end of Stephie's dissertation with a few cocktails (if you're in the Canterbury area, I recommend Alberrys because it is fab!) and I wore my Matalan dress from a few weeks ago, with a shrug from Dorothy Perkins to keep me warm (and hide ye olde upper arms too).
I also want to bring you another cheap and pampering recommendation for those stressful times when your hair and skin are acting up - and yes, it's another Superdrug own brand product! My hair's been incredibly dry and frizzy of late, with a tendency to tangle within seconds of brushing it, and not even my Charles Worthington conditioner's been able to help. So I turned to a product I've heard lots of good things about: coconut oil.
First things first, it's solid, so you have to warm it up in your hands before application. Secondly, although the tub says it's a skin product, you can use it as a leave-in conditioner (less really is more!!! Beware!) or as a hair masque. I chose to trial the latter, covered my hair in it (it didn't take a lot of product) and left it overnight. In the morning I looked as though I'd bathed in chip fat, but after washing my hair I was taken aback by how smooth and silky it felt!
Two washes on it's still a lot softer than it was before and easier to manage, and it had the same effect on my friend's hair, and her hair type is very different to mine.
The best thing though? The price. This retails for £1.99 in Superdrug.
So if you're after a cheap pampering fix, I'd recommend coconut oil with bells on!

Hello my lovelies! I'm so sorry (I always seem to be apologising at the moment) for my sporadic posting at the moment. I'm revising for my final exams at the moment and haven't had the time to post or comment on blogs, and I know it must be noticeable as I can see that I'm losing readers! So once again so sorry for my absences, I can't blog every day as I'd like to, sadly!
Due to exam stress and changing cleansers (I'm not ready for Pond's Cold Cream, it would seem) I broke out in lots of horrible spots last week, and not even copious amounts of Double Wear could hide them! As soon as I returned to the UK after my little sejour at home I started using my regular cleanser and a particularly excellent product, which shall be the subject of the quick review in the title. Ladies (and gents?), this product is...
Superdrug's own brand mud mask! They have several different types but this Deep Cleansing one is my favourite. My skin is the clearest it's been, my only blemishes are the old ones healing up and I haven't had any new blemishes at all since I started to use this every day. I use it as a proper mask every few days, but every day before jumping in the shower I mix a little of this with water and use it as a face wash, and I swear this product is the reason my skin has cleared up! If any of you are stressed and if your skin is suffering, pick a tube of this up and let me know if it helps!
This retails for £2.59 in Superdrug and they last a reasonably long amount of time.
Hope to resume regular posting as soon as my exams are over!
xoxo
