Terribly sorry for my prolonged absence, but I'm happy to tell you that I have COMPLETED MY DEGREE! My last exam was on Thursday and now I have another month left at uni to enjoy and spend time with friends! In the meantime, I've acquired a few lovely things I'd love to post about but alas, I've lost my camera charger and so can't take decent pics (the phone just will not do!). I'm gutted, mainly because I have some lovely new lippies I want to show off and I just can't!
However, before my camera battery died I manage to snap some pics of a couple of bits I bought the other week, they may amuse you for the time being. Firstly, my friend's housemate was holding a Lord of the Rings party (it was gorgeous!) so I bought myself a wig from Claire's Accessories to see what I'd look like with long hair (elves don't really "do" bobs, now, do they...). It was so funny!
Seriously this is my ideal length! My lovely friend Becky (who's just set up her own beauty blog!) bought my the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment so I'm going to test that out and see how it goes, hopefully I'll have hair like this in no time at all (...yeah).
In a fit of voucher-induced desperation I also bought the Sanctuary Hot Cloth Cleanser to compare it to the No7 one I love. I haven't used it enough to comment on it, but one thing I can say is that the muslin cloth is excellent, much better than the Boots ones and also much bigger! The cleanser itself is quite nice but as I'm using up my No7 one I've only used it a couple of times, it didn't break me out but that's not to say it's perfect! It didn't remove mascara as well as I'd like, though.
Speaking of No7, if you didn't know already, the £5 vouchers are back! I've already put them to good use buying new eyelash curlers, seriously amazing as they're only £1.64 with the voucher! Awesomeness!
Anyway, I'm going to hunt for my charger and hopefully I'll be able to resume normal blogging soon! Much love to you all!
xoxo
Congratulations on finishing! The summer I finished my BA was one of the happiest of my life so far, enjoy and make the most of it!
ReplyDeleteThe wig looks so real! it really suits you but I think the bob does too! x
Congratulations on finishing! I can't decide which hairstyle I prefer, I always really like your hair :) And I'm excited that the No. 7 vouchers are back, I have a wishlist!

Yaaaay congrats lovely, realising you'll never have to do another exam is the best feeling in the world!
ReplyDeleteLove the wig - I bought a blonde one for my friend's hen party last year just to see how I'd look blonde... I looked ridiculous...xxx
Well done for finishing! Weird question but how much was the wig? I want to know what I'd look like with dark hair but I don't think claires will appreciate me mauling all their stuff in store!
