Well hullo there. Remember me? I dropped off the grid a little around Christmas and I'm not sure what exactly has happened this January but it has been utterly repugnant. Just a never-ending stream of dismal news and occurrences, which have left me feeling extraordinarily disillusioned and lacking even the tiniest pop of energy to put some sort of post together.
Until now!
You see, whilst blogging has been beyond my abilities, and even Twitter is too tiring to keep up with at times, Instagram has been a calming, constant companion of mine. It's so much easier to slap a filter on something and upload it, then scroll absently through my feed, acknowledging other people's lovely talents. Then it occurred to me - if I could muster the inclination to post on Instagram, and appreciate other feeds, then I could just as easily shout about my appreciation beyond a few double-tap likes. No need for one of my endless novellas, just a few pretty pictures and some encouragement for you to check these lovely accounts out. This is by no means a definitive list - just some of my favourite soothing accounts at the moment. Hope you enjoy!
