Hello my lovelies!
Today's dress is one of my favourites. As you probably know, I'm a big big fan of Dorothy Perkins - in fact, most of my wardrobe now hails from there - so every season I build up a wishlist of clothes I want to purchase....and then I wait.
Why wait, you may ask? Because every now and then, after waiting, you get lucky. And when I say get lucky, I really mean you find everything on your wishlist reduced in the sale. This happened to me last February with this dress; after coveting it in all its £36 glory, I discovered it in my size, sitting happily on the sale rail awaiting my debit card. In real life it fits a lot better than in these photos, nipped in at the waist, with a flattering neckline (I dislike anything too low-cut, as I tend to attract too much unwanted attention otherwise!) and a lightly flared skirt, not too fancy, not too casual. It's simply perfect and the material is lovely and thick as well.
It cannot be a coincidence, then, that today whilst wearing this dress I managed to nab another bargain - the merlot skater dress I'd so very nearly bought three times whilst full price, for a measly £5. Of course I accidentally bought two other cheap-as-chips dresses as well. I do so love the Brentwood Dorothy Perkins, their stock is always fantastic!
I'm also loving the Sleek brow palette. My brows have been so unruly recently, patchy and messy and generally unkempt, so I took the tweezers and scissors to them (yes, they require heavy duty taming) and now use this palette to keep them looking neat. I bought it in "Dark" and it is occasionally almost too dark, but the Light one just looked too ashy to work on my skin! I think for £7.99 they're quite reasonable and the little brushes work nicely as well.
Do you have a favourite shop where you find super bargains? Let me know!
