Hello my lovelies,
Now it's not something I broadcast publicly but last Monday I (hush!) officially reached a quarter of a century... Terrifying stuff.
I hope you were all adequately pleased with the sunshine and above freezing temperatures I ordered - I certainly was and celebrated by wearing (what else) a floral print dress from Dorothy Perkins.
It ticks all the necessary boxes for me: pretty print, mixed colours, high neck, fitted waist and of course a lovely swishy skirt! I teamed it with my Next lace blazer and new Kurt Geiger (*cough*TK Maxx) pumps - although I did have to put on a mac later on as it was quite windy and a wee bit chilly! The perfect outfit for our annual afternoon tea excursion, I managed to make it through two scones without spilling jam down my front which is clearly a sign I've reached adulthood.
I think it'll look good for work eventually (and obviously better without black tights! Bring on the warmer weather!) but at the moment I'm happy to keep it for weekend wear (I don't know if anyone else does this, but whenever I make a new purchase I HAVE to wear it for several non-work days before I debut it at the office...) and special occasions. On that note I shall be taking it back down to Kent today for my birthday weekend with the bessies - I'm so happy the sunshine has finally decided to grace us with its presence! Hope you all have a super weekend!
Much love,
Dani xoxo
