Hello my lovelies,
You may have an inkling that I am somewhat of a make up fiend... Not sure where you'd get that idea from though (ahem). At any rate I love spending hours scrolling through other people's blogs and reading about their wonder products, and a particular favourite of mine is seeing what people rely on to get them through a busy day. Travel make up if you will.
So without further ado, this is what weighs down my handbag on a daily basis:
Cleanliness first gals! The Soap & Glory hand gel (1) is perfect for getting rid of any grubby train germs, and I use this all the time - admittedly because it smells amazing! It does dry your hands out though so it's a good idea to have the matching Hand Food cream (1) around so you don't get flaky hands (sexy).
I don't know about you but I have a real eye issue during a work day - my eyelashes droop and my concealer wears away quite easily, so I always keep a mascara and concealer on hand for touch ups. Chanel Inimitable Intense (2) is perfect, and Benefit Fake Up concealer (3) is so easy to apply and blend, no brushes needed!
My skin also drinks up my blusher, especially if I use a powder, so I keep the lovely Topshop cream blush in Neon Rose (4) on hand for emergency brightness requirements (it helps that it has a fab mirror and sturdy case too!).
Finally, let's get lippy! I just cannot go a whole day without applying some sort of lip product, so I like to have choices (5). The Revlon Balm Stains are my hero products because they keep my lips soft, the colour lasts ages and also you don't need a mirror to apply (although be careful when doing your upper lip - pink moustaches aren't as hot as you'd think). I also like to carry a real lipstick around though, for a brighter finish, and for this I like using Topshop's lippie in Brighton Rock - it's a gorgeous summery colour that I adore!
