Hello again my lovelies,
You may recall that Primark featured in my favourites for 2014 as my cheap'n'easy fashion fix - I'm happy to say this has continued into 2015! We have quite a large store in Westfield Stratford and it's so simple to pop in on my way home from work to pick up a few bits. I've recently gone in for basics like socks and tights, and inevitably ended up leaving with armfuls of bargains! These are my favourites of the moment:
Zip-back jumpers
These are so comfy and hang really nicely! They are quite an oversized fit - I had to get the grey one in size small as the medium stripy jumper absolutely drowns me, but thrown over a pair of skinny jeans they look perfect, skimming over all my lumpy bits. The neckline is a bit more of a boatneck too so it's more flattering on my shape. These jumpers are £10 and they have a host of other colours, I must say I have my eye on a khaki green one too...
Checked scarf
My love for patterned scarves knows no bounds... but I wanted to update my look with more spring-appropriate colours and this blush pink and grey number was perfect. It's quite a snuggly material too, so keeps me nice and cosy when the mornings are chilly! I think this was £5.
Copper fairylights
I actually saw these on Youtube, I think it may have been Zoella? Naturally my copper obsession meant I was trawling the queue at Primark the next day, searching for an unopened box of these lights (don't you hate it when all the packaging is open and ruined?!). I have these draped around the picture frame above our bed and they're so beautiful when all lit up! They were only £6 too!
Triangle necklace
I admit, this would be perfect if the chain was a longer length as I originally bought it to layer with other necklace. On its own, however, it's perfectly dainty and pretty and adds a nice touch to my daily outfits. £1.50 well spent, in my opinion!
Yoga mat
Okay, this is most unlike me, but in a bid to tone up and help with my anxiety, I've started doing nightly yoga sessions in my room! After getting awful carpet burn on my knees, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and try out a yoga mat. This was only £5 but it's huge, a pretty mint colour that matches the stripes on our spring bedding (please tell me everyone else uses seasonal bedsheets? Yes?) and rolls up nice and small to tuck behind the door. I'm still not any more flexible than I used to be, but I'm bloody brilliant at the corpse pose!
Have you picked up any Primark bargains recently? Do tell...
Love Dani
xoxo
The necklace is so nice and dainty! I'll have to look out for that next time I'm in Primark! I also love the copper fairy lights too x
