Hello my lovely readers!
The other day I was left with a tenner I didn't spend on a night out so I decided I'd treat myself to some beauty bits and bobs, as you do! I read about the Body Shop's face brush and it sounded good, and for £3.50 you can't really go wrong, so into my shopping bag it went, soon followed by the Superdrug mud mask. I LOVE mud masks. I used to have a massive tube of what was basically green mud, bought in a supermarket in Luxembourg, and I'd just whack it on whenever my skin felt particularly ugly (so every two days, then). This is just as lovely, if in a slightly smaller tube, and it was only £2.49 too. After that I trotted off to Boots and picked up the Collection 2000 pressed powder because it was £1.99 and I wanted a really light powder to try and offset the...well, orangeness of my Chanel foundation. This powder SMELLS, though, it's really strong and floral and granny-like, so it's probably not going to worm its way into my favourites. It does the job though, if you can put up with the smell!
A couple of days later I decided to put my £5 No7 voucher to good use which meant I got their latest foundation for £8.50. I shall review it at a later date once I've had a chance to use it for a few weeks and get a proper feel for it. I quite like the matte effect though, but it's a bit cakey with powder so I'm going to try and use it without and then I shall report back to you!
What do you think of my purchases? Anything similar you'd like to recommend? I love hearing your thoughts!
xoxo
I've wanted to try the Mud Therapy mask but I am soooo attached to my Mudd masks (that come in sachets from Superdrugs) that I don't want to try anything else till the pot I filled has ran out!! But please do a review on it!!
