Well, technically, this is yesterday's face, although I'm writing it on the day I wore it, today, in order to publish it tomorrow, which is not today, yet...oh I am confusing myself. Anyway, in this I'm wearing some products that I haven't reviewed yet so despite it being my usual look, it's still somewhat new...kind of.
I have perfected the gormless look. Hurrah!
Wearing: Estee Lauder Double Wear in Fresco (sample); Gosh Touch Up Concealer on me lovely spots, innit; By Terry Touche Veloutee under eyes; Bourjois Rose Coup de Foudre blush; Collection 2000 Extreme liner; Collection 2000 Big Fake mascara.
I'm really pleased with the By Terry concealer/highlighter. It hides my dark circles so much better than Touche Eclat ever did, I know they're still visible but they're so much better than without, I tell you! And it was a bargain! Woop woop!
The Collection 2000 mascara was a very good purchase too, I've seen it on Pixiwoo and heaps of other beauty blogs and I can see why they love it. The brush is ENORMOUS and yet it doesn't clump. Me being me I still get loads of mascara on my eyelids, but that's par for the course.
I'm still in a bit of a tizzy over Double Wear. Yes, the colour is perfect for my silly skin at the moment. Yes, the longevity is amazing (applied at 8, lasted all the way till 4 when I took it off after my long powerwalk and it was still there despite the sweat, so very impressed with that.) I was expecting the coverage to be a bit better but then I didn't use very much as I only have a teeny tiny sample and I wanted to test it over a couple of days to see if it broke me out (so far, so good). So I guess I'm kind of leaning towards making a purchase, if I can justify buying ANOTHER high-end foundation so soon after the Chanel debacle. I do need a lighter foundation...hm.
Enough rambling from me for now! Have any of you tried Double Wear? Love it/loathe it? Let me know! Please?
xoxo
